Rodney,
I put several probable fulva thizomes in the mail to you today. I say
probably, because these may be red echo. When mine bloom this year, I
should be able to identify yours which is in a different location.
Also with great frustration I discovered that a garden helper had dumped a
barrow of red clay on the native blue eyed grass which I had foraged
especially for you, and it is no where to be found. As I said before, I have
blue eyed grass from other sources, and the liklihood is that mine have
interbred.
I'll be curious when these rhizomes bloom whether you can confirm fulva or
Red Echo. Whichever, they are very nice.
We have had nil winter, and are set up for a disasterous freeze. My
Japanese magnolia is in bloom, trees are budding, and 75 detrees is
predicted for Saturday. It is very unlikly that we will escape another
severe freeze before winter is over.
