Spring in Kansas City

The reticulata flowers are only a memory now, but spring Marches on!  Pun intended!

Iris 'Sindpers' has just finished. It was glorious this year, thanks to the cool weather it was a darker blue then usual. A real knockout! There were seven flowers open at once on what was, only a few years ago, one small bulb.

Iris vicaria opened it's first bloom today, it must have enjoyed the heavy rain we had overnight.

The first Iris magnifica will open Friday or Saturday depending on how much sunshine we have. It has been self sowing for several years and the largest seedling is almost mature enough to flower, what fun!

So, what's blooming in your neck of the woods?
