Happy iris time has arrived for you!! This E-mail
came through just fine so whatever you are doing is working for me. I wonder if
you or any one else getting this can tell me a source of Iris magnifica, the
only Juno I had last for several years. The year it got away we had unseasonably
warm Feb. and March, dropping down to -8 F on April 8--it was already up about a
foot and did not survive. Another iris I''d like to find is one I called
"Horinaka's red". I got it and a nice bright blue from Horinaka several years
ago. Both were very nice, but especially the red and I think I lost them by
by selling and sharing too many and then planting the rest too close
to my Black Walnut trees. If anyone happens to have gotten either of them from
me or anyone else, I'd sure like to hear about it. I have Snowdrops and Trillium
rivale poking up and ready to bloom.
