RE: Iris virginica Alba

 

Mark, that virginica alba is really lovely,  a special thing. 

I've never germinated Neomarica but I know they don't need any cold treatment. Other tough-seeded warm-growers I've grown seem to germinate faster the warmer it is. I keep those seed trays over bottom heat and covered with glass unless it's very hot. Probably a couple of months from sowing until germination. Hope that helps
