That plant was mis-named. It turned out to be Iris ruthenica. Asiatica Nursery did import and sell I. rossii for a number of years but it is unknown if any are alive.! It is apparently difficult to move long distances i.e. Japan to the USA. One of the reason we are trying to get seeds.
