We grow it but haven't been able to get much increase over the last few years. Got it in 1994 from Bois d'Arc Gardens. It's possible they still have it...

I wrote Plant Delights re Iris hexagona and got a reply today. They do
not have it in production right now but have mother plants so may offer
it in the future. They added that if there is enough interest/inquiry
they may put a plant into production due to demand.

The original source was Eco Gardens in Decatur, GA sometime prior to
2002. I websearched the name and this hit was as far as I took the trail.

PD does not know of any other sources of this species. My comment - If
they don't then it truly is a hard to get one. :( sorry

That is the core info but there was other stuff so out of courtesy I
replied asking if it would be OK to forward their reply. If they say OK
I will do that. If no to forwarding then I will paraphrase and send that.
