Re: Hermodactylus tuberosus

Iris tuberosa, correct. I for one will miss the rotating "recently viewed" photos feature on the database updates page.

I made some minor cosmetic changes to the SIGNA database & I think it's a lot easier to use now.  Please take a look!  http://signa.org/index.pl?Species

Years ago when someone would upload a new pic without including a thumbnail, the website would automatically notify me via text msg, and I'd create the thumbnail right away.  Well I had stopped doing that, and yesterday I finally caught up on 2 years of thumbnails.  :-)

Yesterday I also noticed the database still has Hermodactylus tuberosus instead of Iris tuberosa.  That's going to require some manual labor for me to update each of those pages, so before I begin I wanted to get some official feedback... the suffix changes from -us to -a, right?  H. tuberos-us becomes Iris tuberos-a, right?

This has happened before with things like Belamcanda & Pardanthopsis.  Those former species epithets are grayed out and redirect you to the valid species.  I'll do the same with Hermodactylus, now, too.
