I'm sure Carol would be willing to answer an e-mail question.
Dart Hill nursery is in a location where foetidissima can grow well.
Could very well be a garden clone.

Thanks, Chuck, I checked theÂAIS database,Âthat's the first thing I
thought of. And I'm told that Carol Lankow is no longer active in the
Iris world, for health reasons.

It isn't officially registered, not in AIS database.. I would suggest
contacting Carol Lankow, who posted the photo and contacting Dart's
Hill for further information

I'm working on an article on Iris foetidissma for the RHS magazine The
Plantsman and I'm having trouble tracking down any information about
Iris foetidissima 'Dart Hill'?
Berries are illustrated
hereÂhttp://www.signa.org/index.pl?Display+Iris-foetidissima+16
Seed was contributed to the Signa seed list by Carla Renkow (who also
provided the picture referenced above) but I can't find anything more
about it. Is it, perhaps, associated with the garden at Dart's Hill
(http://www.dartshill.caÂ).
Any information gratefully received.
Many thanks.
