attempted intergeneric cross

 

Today I applied fluffy ivory-colored pollen from Neomarica northiana
onto my Trimezia steyermarkii flower (which has nearly black-colored
pollen).  I'm not sure if they're genetically compatible, but it seemed
worth a try.
