Kupari X variegata (first bloom 2004)

Here's the first bloom to open from this batch of
seedlings (Kupari white pallida X variegata Beardsley
clone). One seedling had bloomed with a puny stalk
last year and was a plicata. This year the majority of
the dozen or so seedlings have flower stalks that
should be opening within the week. It looks like the
plicata is still there but most of the rest look like
they'll be closer in appearance to this one. (Which I
think looks a lot like the historic iris 'Quaker
Lady')
By the way, it has the super fragrance typical of the
pallidas.
