I'm really not a bit surprised. Even in my yard, it comes up uninvited--I grow it of, course, but I have dug it out of my rock garden, my white garden, and my trillium bed just this year. I have not idea what distributes the seed, but it does get around. I try to deadhead it but miss some once in a while. And apparently near water, it moves around even more. Joan Cooper
