Beam me up, Scotty!

Finally, a sunny day. The weather here has been quite cool with a
light frost every morning for the past week. I was finally able to
take a few photos today and hoped you would enjoy seeing Iris
kirkwoodii. I've had a lot of bloom on the aril and aril-bred, but it
has been so cool and damp they never look their best. The spot is so
black it looks like it's not even there, just a hole to nowhere. The
domed standards are typical, but I think the cool weather has
contributed to the cupped falls.
