Iris schachtii

Managed to catch another iris in bloom today. This is growing in pure  
missouri river bottom sand. It's in a raised bed of wood 3 ft high.  
It is not vigorous as it only makes 1 or 2 bloom stalks each year. I  
have a hard time catching this as it usually only lasts a few hours.  
The cool weather has been a help on some of the ephemeral iris. This  
flower is only about 1.5 inches tall.
