developer and mass destruction

The 70 acre parcel across the street from me is being shredded as I type.
Used to be part of the family farm. Cousin in NJ inherited it and sold all
but the little we could afford to a developer. There is a large patch of
wild versicolor out there. I'm going to attempt to move it when the loggers
get a little further away from the boggy spot. Have the property owners
permission.
I really don't need any. Lots of it here. Still too pretty to let it get
covered and smashed. Anybody want some? No uncommon variations. Just plain
old wild NH bog iris. If not I can figure out where to stuff it for safe
keeping. Rather it finds a home though. .
Tried to find the Canada lilies and I can't. Too late. Maybe I got lucky and
they weren't up yet. Still real early here.

They are dozing the old foundation of the blacksmith shop now. Husbands
family has been here since 1742.
Cringing!
