In the summer of 2000 Patrick Orr from Glendale
Arizona offered white pseudacorus seed, and there apparently few takers. I
asked, and he sent a large supply, and corrected his identificaation to Spuria,
I. ochraleuca.
Germination was good, and I had far more seedlings
than I could use. so I offered them to neighbors in spring 2001. They
did not bloom until 2004, and now they are scattered throughout our
neighborhood. I have several other spurias blooming, but to me this is the
most interesting.
