Sisyrinchium sp.

An irid I discovered early in the spring on one of my wildflower
hikes is finally blooming. Happily it's in a lot more places than
the one I found. When they bloom BOY are they noticeable. I'm not
sure what species it is, but it's definitely a Sisyrinchium. I found
it growing in a mostly woodland setting, along the edges of
trails. The get very little full sunlight, but are generally in open
high shade locations. They tended to be in drier soils, but one
patch was in a moist shady spot.

The flowers are paler and smaller than the Sisyrinchium that I grow at home.
