Re: SV: image sizes

Well if you understand that generally PC displays use 72 dpi to display things, you realize that any resolution over 72dpi is superfluous for pictures in the 6-8 inch range. All it does is make the picture bigger. Many email readers rescale them automatically.

Hi Chuck and Christy,

I will make my pictures smaller – but as you know it will also take some of the quality.

Amen to that.

Also try not to send more then two photos in a posting.

We are on a corner lot. Both neigbours on south side can get wireless high speed, but we are in a radio shadow of the tower. So still on dial up.  A promised fix has been comming, with a new promise and solution every so often, for the past two years. No fix yet. Last new promise or a fix was three weeks ago.

If possible, could you reduce the sizes of your images?

We're still on dial-up out here in the sticks and overly large photos time out our connection requiring that we go to the server and dump the messages without ever seeing them.

Thanks,

Christy
