Re: Elmohr

No, there is a grace about them that distinguishes them from the ubiquitous glamour shots. While clearly amateur, in your photos the flowers still look like flowers and the color is good. The tire swing in the back of this one gives it an additional soupÃon of authenticity....

I have one tiny seedling of Iris persica here either going dormant or dying. It might even have a second leaf, although that also could be a weed in its pot. Exciting times! I have a tiny I. variegata coming on, too, all this from last year's seed.

Otherwise my good pseudacorous is in bloom, still looking fine after all these years, and so are the Madonna Lilies I got from Himself's mother, who had them from her mother. I sowed scarlet Pentapetes yesterday, my original seed a gift from a buddy at Williamsburg, and white Texas star hibiscus, seed from a chick at Ebay which did really well for me last year. Gorgeous plants, both of them. Also sowed some four o'clocks, which I hope will be outrageous. We had them when I was a child and I wanted to smell them again.

Otherwise, we are wrapping up the TB season, with Cayeux's magnificent 'Voltigeur' the last man standing.

Thanks for all your work for SIGNA.

Thanks AMW! I usually refer to them as "mug shoots."

That is a nice shot of that one, Rodney. I like your photos for their straightforwardness.

Thank you.

Hi All!

I was going through the archives and I ran across the discussion about Elmohr. Here's a photo from this spring. The color is a little light in the photo.
