Beware -- every one of those blossoms will end up as several dozen seeds -- every one viable.  So unless you remove those seed-pods before they dehisce, you'll soon find A. ecklonii popping up in every pot.  Anyway, that's how they behave in the S.F. Bay area.  Mine are currently in bloom, too, and I must say they look splendid when a large potfull is totally covered with blossoms.
