Hi Debbie,

Yes, it's a Neomarica. I believe the species is "candida". Each bloom lasts just one day. You can have a succession of blooms. A once a week application of a soluble fertilizer with a high middle number starting two months before bloom (Nov for Jan bloom) should improve your bloom.

I was told this was a walking iris and this year it bloomed, but only for one day. So glad I snapped this photo with my phone or I wouldn't have any pictures at all.
Is this a neomarica?
