Janos, I've had good luck growing I. cristata
in pots. They seem to like the shallow and wide pots and I use a mix of compost with a little sand. The pots stay under a deciduous tree so are shaded in the summer. I try to keep them slightly moist even when not in active growth. Rodney From: "'J.
