ÂÂÂÂ It looks to me like Ohio S. albidum blooms are prettier than Florida S. albidum blooms.

Here are pics from the wild of Sisyrinchium sp. probably albidum from southern Ohio, taken May 2, 2015.

Sisyrinchium is in the Iris family, and is probably the most widespread genus in the family with species occurring in such remote places as Greenland & Hawaii. Ohio is native to at least 3 species and they're impossible for me to tell apart. A botanist friend suggested S. albidum for these pics.
