How do you DO that?

Yesterday two seeds of Iris x robusta x self from SIGNA 11 #SX247 finally germinated. I didn't leave the package sitting in a drawer - I sowed them as soon as I got them, and they've been through the seasons since then, from almost-freezing to about 25 C.

I'm still waiting for germination from lots of SIGNA 9, 10, 11 seeds.
