It is somewhat of a weed in my garden but it is native here. As long as I don’t try to get rid of it there are always some. It does seed rapidly in shade as long as there isn’t much competition. In sun it is well behaved and flowers better. I don’t think I have ever seen ripe seeds on it as they mature and drop so quickly. Jim Murrain
