Iris friends,
Does anyone want to take a stab at this?  It's ambiguous due to the photo, but I was thinking some form of sanguinea, based on the flower, the width of the foliage, and the bloom time.

Can you please, from this not-so-good photo, identify this iris? It is blooming now in North Carolina, Zone 7-B. The grower wants to enter it in a show on Saturday.
I grow many species irises but have not seen this one.
