I got a plant last year that had been labelled as Iris humilis SIGNA 12DB003 (wc Hungary), but sadly it turned out to be this! An SDB I guess. Tags got mixed up somewhere in the convoluted path it took to me. I never successfully germinated that species myself from the same seed lot.

I've collected some seeds from the two SIGNA 13DB03 plants that bloomed for me this year and I've now taken one division each as "backup copies". I'm hoping to keep them going longer than I have this species in the past. I'm thinking that Saskatchewan might be closer to their native climate than here.
