Re: Index to SIGNA

Hi Char,

These indexec each cover a 10 issue segment of the SIGNA Bulletins and are for looking up information that is contained in these bulletins.  You can look up articles by name, Author or by Iris type, or area (Country, State)where grown.  It is great if you want to know some information about a subject that has been covered in the SIGNA Bulletins.  Each index is aproz 30 to 40 pages is a 4 1/4" X 11" booklet that is three hole punched to fit right in with your Signa Bulletins as an easy reference guide.

Right now we have indexes for the following issues of the Bulletin:
21-30        Fall 1978 to Spring 1983
31-40        Fall 1983 to Spring 1988
41-50        Fall 1988 to Spring 1993
51-60        Fall 1993 to Spring 1998
61-70        Fall 1998 to Spring 2003

W are current;y working on 1-10 and 11-20.  When we started this project in 2003 we started with the present and started working backward through the issues.  It is a ver daunting process with ach article having to be read by one of our Indexers noting Title of each article, Author of each article, whether there is an illustration or photo, whether there is a table, also geographical references are noted and also other references that are Iris related.

I hope that this answers your question.

All My Best

Will
