        Your setosa MIGHT be OK  in a 42 degree pond over winter, but if it's potted, I would just lift it and sink the pot in the ground to overwinter.  Cold is no problem, and my instincts say that would be safer than the pond.  Setosas can be short lived, so if it's choice, be sure to save some seeds and divide often.  Also, there are always several selections in the SIGNA exchange, so you could start some more seeds over the winter.
