I read Bob Pries article in the AIS Bulletin and wanted to ask if
he had noticed a decrease in iris borers. I use rock dust around the
perimeter of the garage and house and have noticed a decrease in Box
Elder bugs and lady bugs getting inside.

Stone dust available in NoVa is a diabase rock and rather acidic. I've
been reluctant to use it as the local red clay is acidic

I don't mulch iris beds because of borers and have wanted to try the
stone dust
