RE: SIGNA Seed Exchange Special 2011 Seed Auction

Jim & all,
Short sanguineas are not that uncommon but it's interesting that these seeds are from a whole population of dwarf plants. From this web site it seems apparent that they were much appreciated by the locals, I have to wonder how common they were in the wild and how much this trait was encouraged by the hand of man. It's cool that there is at least some variation in color, both blue and white ones appear in the photos. Are the seeds smaller than usual, as some dwarf sanguinea seed is?
Ken

Could you clarify which web site has the photos &
info? I couldn't find it either on SIGNA's site or the BIS site.

This is a good page but all in Japanese. Here is the link using
Google Translate http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.city.kitakyushu.lg.jp%2Ftobata%2Ffile_0079.html

Long URLs often break so you may have to copy and paste.
