Hey gang, we are working on the SIGNA seed exchange and I wanted to share something interesting with you.  Jan and Marty of Joe Pye Weed's Garden  sent in a good sized packet of seeds from their Iris setosa with magenta striping. These seeds could easily produce something like the iris in this photo. Marty  says 'magenta stripes' is very vigorous but probably will not be introduced. Iris setosa 'magenta stripes' is a seedling that came from an offering of SIGNA seeds labeled pink stripes. Those seeds came from Japan.  The photo is a  seedling from 'magenta stripes' crossed with I. setosa 'Tourist.
