No, I have not sectioned one. It is an infant. I note that the leaves are narrow.
The source of the seed was Dr. Maurice Boussard near Marseilles, and his source was a wild collected clone sent to him by his brother from Turkey. I've seen photos of the mother.I hope there has not been a mix up somewhere because I need persica badly and seeds are very hard to come by.
I just sow in light all organic medium with ph about 6 and left it to the elements. It will be interesting to see whether this is additional germination or offsets. But I'm not going to poke around in the pot while it is busy.

They actually look like reticulata leaves to me, not like those of a juno. I've had limited success with germinating junos, though. Are they flat in cross-section, or several-sided?
