"The World of Iris" or "The Gardeners Iris Book" from the AIS store front are decent choices. Basic Iris culture from the Storefront at 1.50 is handy.

There is no "one" book. The Signa back issues from Carla Lankow. I suggest #3, #24, #53, #63. These are more seed germination oriented but are so valuable. Ask for Carla's advice. She was very helpful when I ordered back issues.

Check your local area for iris enthusiasts or iris clubs. Nothing better than a buddy helping you in learning more about iris.. Check AIS web site for club locations.
