Re: Iris scariosa

Hello Jim,
I think it should be guarded of excessive humidity. Where in Xinjiang it was collected? How tall is it?

     What luck, I have obtained a very nice form of Iris scariosa 
from Xinjiang Province in China. I received two rhizomes of this very 
rare iris. The rhizomes look much like an Onco, but larger. It's 
about 15 inches tall in flower. This form was collected by a peony 
nursery owner in China where the iris is native. Fingers crossed that 
I can grow and flower this neat iris.
