Resource: Kew Check List for Iris

Just in case someone out there is unaware of this useful resource, please note the following link to the Kew Check List.

I've seen a couple of things in the list that I thought really might not be quite right, but overall, and for a source of publication bibliography, its the snail's elbows.

Per Kew, I. klattii is not a valid name. Syn of:

Iris spuria subsp. carthaliniae (Fomin),

They suggest Mathew, B., page 117 Iris (1981).

The attached pictures were first identified as
I. spuria subsp. carthaliniae, but then the owner
changed her mind and said they were I. klattii,
which as far as I can tell isn't a currently
recognized species - what's its current status?
The pictures of klattii I was able to find on
the internet are blue rather than white.

Any thoughts as to what these iris actually are?

Thanks,

Jean
