I sowed a bunch of Iris and Passiflora seeds in small containers
roughly 9 to 12 months ago that never germinated. (Really irritating
because the Passiflora seeds I sent to other people have germinated.
Harrumph!) Not wanting to waste perfectly good potting mix, I re-used
it to grow other things.
Slowly, iris seedlings have been popping up where they don't belong.
The 6th "mystery" iris seedling has now appeared!!!
It's a bit frustrating because I have no recollection whatsoever if
these are water-loving irises, or arilbreds, or what. They might even
be Moraea or Dietes. I labeled the pots, but when nothing germinated
I threw the labels away. So foolish!!!
