      That makes it sound like rebloom could be a regular happening with that species.

I looked back at my photos of I. henryi. I bought "clone 2" from  Far Reaches Farm in late winter of 2013 and it bloomed in September of that year. I was given small piece of clone 8 (Mini Treasure) a few years ago. The first blooms consisted of a couple stalks in August of this year followed by a couple more now. I currently have 3 or 4 clones of this species (depending on whether the first one I as given was also clone 2) and they almost always bloom in March or April, but clearly they have some flexibility.
