Does anyone know if the seeds of Iris domestica (blackberry lily) should be harvested as soon as the pods open or if they should mature for a while longer?

Just a reminder that there's still a month to donate seeds for the seed exchange! Please send your seeds by November 1st. If you're sending from outside the U.S., email me at the address listed on the website below so I can send you the necessary permits.

As an incentive to donate, I'm going to go back to giving donors first pick of seeds from the sale. Even if you can only send seed from a few species, please do, especially if you can collect wild seed or have less commonly-grown species or forms in your garden!
