Re: I. brevicaulis won't set seed


A thought comes to mind that I haven't seen comment on.  Are these patches of plants made up of a single clone?  If so, it is quite possible that the plant is self incompatible.  If one clone is involved, and if pollinators are present, it may be as simple as planting a second clone.
