Yes! In our old place, I grew Sibs and some Medians AND one Iris
albertii along the edge of a gravel driveway. They all flouished
and frankly shocked us. I did give them plenty of water (the
Sibs) and had the Sibs mulched with pine straw. Not only irises
but I had hardy geraniums and rudbeckia and other plants there.
