{Disarmed} RE: Re: borer at this time of year? pupae


Hi,

The eggs are dark yellow and as big as the lead in a number two pencil is around.  The moth flies between 10 pm and 2 am and is white and maybe 1 to 1 1/2 ‘ wing spread.  Looks like a cabbage moth.

Its a shiny and brown capsule about an inch long. It is tapered at the end.
Does seem a bit short for a large borer larva, but I guess it contracts
itself. I would love to see the eggs and moth of the durn thing.
