Re: Dietes vegata


Dietes vegeta is an obsolete name for Dietes iridiodes. That flower is
supposed
to be white or tinged pale blue. The plant that is commonly sold here in
California
as Dietes vegata appears to be Dietes grandiflora; it is white with
small brown
markings near the base of the standards and has pale lavender styles.
Lots of
confusion...
