I'm still reading the electronic version, as I'm a
bit behind in everything these days, it seems, although I've finally finished
replanting those 255 iris clumps I had to dig up this summer. Now, I'm
replanting all the daylilies & lilies I also had to dig.
Thanks for including my photo of Neomarica
Northiana and for thinking it was a good picture. So far, Neomarica
Northiana has only "walked" it's way into the garage to avoid the first frost
last week. When it catches its breath, I'm sure it'll take itself into the
house and find itself the best sunny window spot.
I'm hoping to soon receive some of Tony Huber's
intro's. They seem to be stuck in Canada Customs. What a
surprise! erg
Also, new from Chuck this year, is Juno I.
bucharica, planted in a prime location for it, I sure hope. Crossing
everything, including eyes, that it survives our winter.

Newsletter Got mine today and just finished reading it! Nice issue filled with
biographical material on several important contributors to the world of iris
species. I also found the article on Sisyrinchium quite
impressive! |
