I've been slacking off posting photos since June. Here's Iris hexagona sensu stricto (Iris hexagonaÂv. hexagona)Âfrom northern Florida, blooming June 30 and still in fruit today. This is distinguishable from Iris savannarumÂ(Iris hexagona v.Âsavannarum) by the very hexagonal pods, yellowish-green leaves and much later bloom time.
