Re: Re:Iris brevicaulis Ontario

Seed would then be brevicualis 'Ohio' but not a specific location?
That would be a start.

Plants would be great. How would you get them to me? Phytosanitary
certificate is a problem.

Chuck,

My hand pollination failed to produce pods on my patch of Southwestern
Ohio brevicaulis, but the bees produced 2 pods. They're probably pure,
as there were over 100 brevicaulis blooms in that patch but there was
also 1 fulva bloom stalk in the vicinity. Are you interested in
those? Or is there a way I could send you plants instead?

My West-Central Ohio brevicaulis did not bloom.

Time to start harvesting seeds. Or to think of it. So for those that
offered (any any others) could you be sure to get some seeds for me.

My Ontario samples are growing well. Added some coffee grounds to pots
for acidity factor.

Thanks
