I never knew Maurice Boussard, but as former seed chair, I remember him as someone who could be counted on to contribute.  All I know of him is that he was a generous man and a real iris fan.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

This year, I'm contributing to the seed exchange several packets worth of hand-pollinated seeds I obtained by crossing plants from two of his 2009 contributions of Iris lutescens. His legacy continues.
