Hi, thanks for the info! Very enlightening stuff.

I just read your message, and the very next message in my mailbox was from
the LA-Iris mailing list, and it contained the worm. Ugh! Anyway, like
you I use Eudora for all my email. However, I use Outlook Express for my
other email accounts.
At any rate, my question is this. Does this worm attack cross-platform?
Theoretically it could since it is some type of Outlook Express script. (I
am on a Mac.) However I looked through the gibberish, and saw such things
as "AUTOEXEC.BAT" which of course Macs do not have. Also the pathname
"C:\\windows\\StartMenu\\Programs\\StartUp\\kak.hta" which would be
meaningless to my system. So I think this particular worm is harmless to
me, correct? Tell me that Macs are safe! :)
Dennis
PS: I switched this over to Iris-Talk from Iris-Photos since this worm
doesn't infect systems through file attachments.
