Hi Karene,
I can't speak to the effectiveness of dawn for control of iris borers. I
can say that the Murphy's has been very effective against borers here. Have you
been able to control borers with dawn? Do you also use Cygon? Using the
Murphy's I have had very good control with as little as 2 sprayings, though I do
prefer to spray more frequently. Glad to see this control method getting some
discussion on the list, and I hope more people will try it to control their
borer problems. Good luck to you.
