Hi, Anner -- I just snuck back in yesterday. Meeting Bill Shear at our
recent C&P program whetted my appetite for iris talk. It was good to see
that you're still here dispensing savvy and lending class. I couldn't
resist slipping Walta the needle, but I know I'll get back as good or better
than I gave. Since we're OT, your little French phrase reminded me of the
time that I had to say to one of the world's most beautiful women, "Je ne
parl' pas Francais." And with that, the prospect of les bontemps faded.
DITTO, PLUM WINE, BLITZ, HAVEN and WHAT, AGAIN? are all blooming, and I have
flower stalks up on JENNIFER REBECCA, LENORA PEARL and a bunch of TB
seedlings. I have also gotten good germination from my seeds planted over
the winter, but they're up so early (some have 3 leaves already) that I'll
have to move up the planting schedule. Fortunately, the beds are all
prepared. I should imagine you have some TBs showing color in the bud by
now?
