Rob,
I would think that you could go ahead and move the plants. You may lose
some of the bloom for this year, but the plants will survive. If there were
to be a really bad cold spell, you could cover the plants with straw or
leaves until it passes.
I used to live in a Zone 5/6 climate, but no more...
